Our Policies

Safety and health are my primary concerns.

I will not provide any procedure that causes discomfort or pain.  

Senior and disabled dogs will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort.  

I will ask you to tell me of any medical issues, injuries, allergies, sensitivities or pre-existing conditions.

If your dog has a behavior problem, please let me know.

I reserve the right to muzzle your dog if necessary.

If your dog is too aggressive, or your dog or I am put at risk of injury, I reserve the right to refuse service.

Pricing varies per dog, and is determined by breed, size and condition. Please note we only groom dogs under 20 lbs.

Additional charges may apply for dematting, deshedding and excessive coats.

Two dogs of the same breed may be different prices due to coat condition, size and style.

A dog that requires additional time due to behavior may be subject to an additional charge.

 

Matting:

Keep in mind that a matted coat can cause numerous health conditions including itching, irritation and skin infections.  Removing a heavily matted coat increases the risks of cuts and abrasions. Precious Pooches is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions or injuries due to a matted coat.  I will bring these issues to your attention immediately.

I will not demat your dog, unless it is minor. I will not shave your dog without your permission.

 

Payment:

Payment is due at the time of service.  

 

Missed Appointments:

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hrs notice will have a fee of 50% of the groom price. 

 

No shows or same day cancellations will have a fee of 100% of groom price.
